Cogiteon is a facility with an area of 14,000 m2. square meters of usable space, a 2-hectare park and a 1-hectare roof garden. The MCN consists of 4 pavilions, connected by a common façade. The building gradually rises from the ground level from the runway of the former Rakowice-Czyżyny airport towards Bora-Komorowskiego Avenue. Most of them are located underground and use ground energy.

As part of the investment, an interactive permanent exhibition “Man and His Dreams” was created, a separate exhibition for children, and the laboratories were equipped with professional equipment. The permanent exhibition itself occupies over 2.2 thousand square meters. square meters of space and consists of, m.in about 100 interactive exhibits. Cogiteon also has 6 laboratories and studios for conducting educational workshops, as well as conference and event rooms.

An important accent of the project is also greenery and ecological solutions. There are 12 trees on the roof of the centre, and about 300 in the park adjacent to the centre. There are perennials, flowers, grasses and outdoor exhibits. A unique solution in the region is a walking path with gardens running on the roof of the building, from which you can admire the panorama of Krakow. The outdoor recreation area is open to the public and complements the educational offer of the resort.

An interesting fact for visitors is also a German fuel bunker from World War II, discovered during the event, which was eventually incorporated into green areas.

The total cost of the investment amounted to PLN 284 million, of which almost 3/4 was the cost of construction works and development of the park area.
