HOCHTIEF PPP Inwestycje Polskie has signed a contract with the Municipality of Żory for the construction of 4 multi-family municipal buildings. It is the first construction of a housing estate in Poland carried out in the public-private partnership formula.
As part of the task, the Public Partner (the City of Żory) will obtain the necessary funds for the construction and maintenance of the facility. The Private Partner (HOCHTIEF PPP Inwestycje Polskie Sp. z o.o.) will prepare the design documentation, carry out the entire construction process and will be responsible for maintaining the investment for 20 years.
The main role will be played by HOCHTIEF Polska. Our task will be to develop design documentation along with obtaining a building permit and to carry out construction works and obtain an occupancy permit. The design part is planned for 9 months, and 27 months for the implementation part.
The task includes:
- four multi-family residential buildings – nine-storey with an underground garage. On the above-ground floors there will be residential and commercial premises,
- above-ground parking spaces with an access road, sidewalks, accesses, squares in front of service premises,
- playground, recreation areas and green areas,
- technical infrastructure – sanitary, water, energy, gas, telecommunications installations, rainwater drainage with retention and external lighting of the area,
The entire project consists of 405 apartments with 617 parking spaces and 5 commercial premises. The total area of the facility is approx. 42,000 m2.
