An official cornerstone laying for Alpha office building, the first building within the new commercial investment, Airport City Gdansk, took place on 29th June 2020 at the Gdansk Airport. Earlier, the Airport owners and management as well as the representatives of the contractor had signed the investment foundation act.
“The completion of Alpha office building is the beginning of Airport City Gdansk project, our dream of a modern and friendly office and business centre at the airport. It is also a chance for diversification of our company’s revenues. The importance of which has been proven by the coronavirus epidemic, which shut off the air traffic all over the world. The construction works for the new office centre did not stop even for a moment during the pandemic. We believe that our project will be important and attractive on the difficult commercial real estate market” -said Tomasz Kloskowski, the President of Gdansk Lech Walesa Airport.

We have a professional and engaged construction team who managed to cope with the challenges of the current situation. All the construction works have been completed according to the schedule. We appreciate the cooperation with the investor and design office as well as our subcontractors and suppliers. We hope that the successful cooperation will be continued and we will achieve the next important milestones for this project together, as planned” – said Tadeusz Blecha, the Board Member of HOCHTIEF Polska.
