The 10th project in the Niepołomice Economic Industrial Zone
HOCHTIEF Polska’s branch in Kraków has been commissioned to extend an existing industrial plant for assembling electric motors with a new warehouse – office – laboratory building in the Niepołomice Economic Industrial Zone. The contract value was agreed to be kept confidential.
The project will be carried out for the company Sopem, a fully owned subsidiary of the Somfy Group – leader in the automatic control of openings and closures in homes and buildings (manufacturer of e.g. electric motors for trellis, roller shutters, jalousie, marquee and gates). Construction works will commence in June this year and end in January 2018.
The new building with the total area of 6,924 square metres will consist of two functional zones: a single-storey high-bay warehouse (up to 7 metres) as well as a two-storey part with offices, trainings rooms and laboratories. The new building is the 4th stage of the project. HOCHTIEF Polska’s branch in Kraków has built within three previous stages an industrial plant for assembling electric motors and extended it with a logistic building and a production-warehouse-social building.
