A consortium of HOCHTIEF Polska and Adamietz Warszawa is drawing a modern data storage center on the horizon in Jawczyce near Warsaw.
The building is being energized, i.e. connected to the target power supply system and implementing the so-called LOTO procedure – an innovative system of mechanical protections protecting service employees against m.in accidental activation of devices.
The abbreviation LOTO comes from the words Lockout and Tagout, which are the two basic assumptions of this procedure:
- Lockout consists in placing a mechanical lock in a place that allows the energy flow to be switched on in the device (e.g. protection in a switchboard, hydraulic or pneumatic ball valve),
- Tagout, (placement) in the place where the blockade is applied, information about the reason for the shutdown.
We care not only about the safety of future employees, but also about the surroundings adjacent to the construction site. All works are carried out in accordance with the BREEAM certificate, ensuring that the investment is carried out with respect for the natural environment.
