The traditional perch was hung on August 27, 2015 at the construction site of the 1st stage of the Moko housing estate at Magazynowa 1 Street in Warsaw’s Mokotów district. The investor of the project is Ronson Development, and the general contractor is HOCHTIEF Polska Branch in Warsaw.
The implementation of the 1st stage of the project was commenced in September 2014, and its completion is planned for May 2016. During this time, two eight-storey residential buildings with a higher standard will be erected; their total area will amount to approx. 26,800 square meters They will have a total of 166 flats, from studios to four-room apartments, ranging in size from 32 to 119 square meters. On the ground floor, 15 commercial premises will be located. Both buildings are situated on a common underground area, where a two-storey garage with 230 parking spaces as well as storage boxes and technical rooms have been foreseen. In the central part of the housing complex, inner patios of the buildings overlooking a common garden area will be created.
– We have performed a reinforced concrete structure of the A and B buildings. Currently, the inside masonry work, installation work within all disciplines, installation of wooden window frames, insulation work on roofs and terraces, brick facade and inside plastering are being implemented. The remaining work includes facades, all finishing work inside the facilities and outdoor space with landscape architecture and greenery – said Mirosław Pogorzelski, Construction Site Manager of the Warsaw Branch of HOCHTIEF Polska.
Since February 2015, also the work on the 2nd stage of the Moko project have been continued, as part of which two residential buildings with a total area of approx. 28,800 square meters will be constructed. There will be 160 flats in them. The completion of the work is forecast for October 2016. The investment is located near a dynamically developing part of the Mokotów district. Its advantages are proximity to Galeria Mokotów shopping centre and convenient public transport (buses, trams, underground, Fast Urban Train system).
